Tony Robbins on public speaking...
If you're nervous about public speaking, stop thinking about yourself. As long as you're thinking about yourself, ie: how am I doing?, am I doing well or not?, all of the sudden you are filled with stress and you're disconnected with the audience. Instead, if you're entire focus is: what are they feeling?, what are they experiencing? how do I serve them?, then insights will come to you. Motive does matter. If your motive is to control the room, you'll feel like a manipulator and you're not going to control the room. Your motive should be to serve, to do something that is higher than just you. Your vision has to be larger than you. - Tony Robbins
